Twenty years ago, in 2004, the first Sacred Fire Firekeeper was initiated. Since that time we have experienced growth, transformation, learning, and most of all, the gift of connecting around a sacred fire. Many lives have been enriched by this simple, yet profound act of gathering together, giving gratitude in the form of sacred offerings, connecting to our common hearts, and witnessing the transformative effect of fire in our lives. Sacred Fire now has over 50 initiated Firekeepers across 7 countries, leading monthly fire ceremonies for over 3,000 people in their shared communities.
We have benefited from the Sacred Fire Lifeways Programs, which continue to inspire and guide individuals, families and communities to recover ways of living that are aligned with the natural world and the pattern of the human lifecycle.
Through special audiences with Grandfather Fire, we continue to receive the gift of His wise guidance in how to live fruitful lives and to feel our connection with all of life.

Featuring: Fire Speaks
Grandfather Fire—Traditional cultures throughout the Americas have long known Fire to be a wise and loving presence. Many Aboriginal and First Nations peoples call the Spirit of Fire Grandfather. During Fire Speaks audiences, traditional healer Don David Wiley lends his body so the Spirit of Fire can answer questions from those who come to hear His stories and wisdom.
Spending time with Grandfather Fire and his teachings about living life from Heart has helped thousands find clarity and courage to meet life’s challenges in a new way. Grandfather Fire is wise, funny, provoking, and profoundly insightful. Spending an evening with Him is a unique opportunity to ask your most pressing questions about life’s mysteries and deepen your connection with the sacred spirits of the natural world.

Join us for a weekend long celebration filled with great activities, opportunities to connect, and a special audience with Grandfather Fire at the beautiful Blue Deer Center in Margaretville, New York.
Price
INDOOR LODGING $695: All inclusive (Lodging, all meals, an audience with Grandfather Fire, presentations and activities). Lodging is limited onsite. Much of the indoor lodging will be offsite, within a few miles
CAMPING at Blue Deer Center $600: All inclusive (Lodging, all meals, an audience with Grandfather Fire, presentations and activities)
COMMUTER $575: Includes all meals, an audience with Grandfather Fire, presentations and activities
Travel
Arrive at the Blue Deer Center between 3-5pm on July 4th. If you are flying in from the Albany airport, we recommend landing in Albany no later than 3pm on July 4th.
Depart by 11am on July 7th.
If the only flights available to you are landing after that time, you may want to consider flying in the day before on July 3rd.
Lodging and Food
Registration prices include all meals from dinner on July 4th through breakfast July 7th. All meals will be Gluten Free and Dairy Free. There will be a vegetarian option.
If you have special dietary needs beyond this, we recommend you plan accordingly to ensure your dietary needs are met.
Due to limited onsite lodging options, much of the lodging will be offsite but are within a few miles of the Blue Deer Center. We will have a transportation coordinator to help connect people for rideshares.
The commuter option will require you to find your own lodging.

Nestled in the Catskill Mountains on ninety three acres of land and forest, the Blue Deer Center is embraced by “Saskawhihiwine,” the river of peace. This land has been known for millennia as a place where conflict is resolved and illness gives way to balance. Blessed things happen here that cannot happen even a short distance away, for this sacred land offers unique medicine for the spirit that supports transformation.
